Funny

[Spoken word]
You ever ask God for help
And when he gives it to you, your like, “ummm…thats not what I meant!”?
Well, God has a funny way of doing things just like that
In his own way
In his own time
Can you believe that?
Here we go

“Father, here’s the problem with my L I F E life.
I need you to do this or that and do it just right
And when you’re done we’ll talk about just WHY
Your answers to my prayers aren’t always on time

[Chorus]
Always on time
Always on time
Your answers to my prayers aren’t always on time

Now here’s the funny part

You make time

Please forgive me
Sometimes I get ahead of myself

You make time
Good thing you love me first
Happy to make you laugh
That’s what it is
You made me funny
And we’re doin just fine
Thanks for the reminder

Well, I imagine You find us all real funny

Love us all
You love us all
